Before the Arenas: Garth Brooksâ Kansas City Story
Before Garth Brooksâ record-breaking ticket sales, packed arenas, the UFO flying drum pod, and his stage surrounded by a halo of LED screens, there was the old stuff.

When the tour rolls into Kansas Cityâs T-Mobile Center on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, Brooks will return to the city that embraced him before arenas became his second home.

Garth Brooks Returns to Kansas City, a City That âKind of Gave Me My Lifeâ
Garth Brooks says Kansas City âkind of gave me my life.â
He means it. His mother was born there. His first gig as an artist was at the Kansas City Opry. And as his career grew from cowboy events and fairs to sold-out arenas, Kansas City grew right along with him.
Now, Brooks is adding another chapter to that history.
Kansas City, Missouri, will be the first November stop on Brooksâ âBlame It All on My Rootsâ Arena Tour, with shows Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, at T-Mobile Center. Tickets go on sale at 12 p.m. Friday, Oct.16, here.
