Give your agents the tools to see it.

The actual DOM, console errors, and network requests.
Straight from the device. Ready for your agent to act on.

Still a human?
We love humans too.

Same device. Familiar DevTools. Inspect elements, read console logs, and debug JavaScript yourself in the Inspect desktop app.

Meet desktop Inspect app

Available for macOS, Windows & Linux.

Demo of the Inspect desktop app: the element picker selects the “Add to cart” button on a connected iPhone simulator, the matching node is highlighted in the Elements tree, and its CSS rule is edited — background from #2b2b31 to #5e5ce6 and padding from 8px 12px to 14px 22px — with the button on the device updating instantly to match.

Start free. Pay for unlimited time.

Finding your device is always free, no login. Talking to it — opening a URL, snapshots, console errors, failed requests — runs inside a debug session, and a free account gets two 15-minute sessions a day. Nothing is locked away. Pro removes that limitation.

FAQ

Good questions.

More in the docs
Can coding agents debug real devices?+

Yes. Inspect gives agents a typed CLI and structured JSON for inspecting the DOM, capturing console and network evidence, and taking screenshots. Your agent can edit your project, reload the mobile browser, and verify the result.

Which coding agents work with Inspect?+

Any agent that can run shell commands: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, or your own. Point it at inspect.dev/agent.md to get started.

Do I need a Mac or a physical device?+

Inspect debugs physical iOS and Android devices from macOS, Windows, or Linux. On macOS with Xcode, your agent can also create and boot iOS simulators.

Can I inspect elements on my iPhone?+

Yes. Use the CLI or desktop Chrome DevTools to inspect DOM and CSS, read console logs, trace requests, and debug JavaScript on iPhone, iPad, or Android. See the guides for Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.

What’s included for free?+

Device discovery and diagnosis are always free. A free account includes two 15-minute debugging sessions per day with the complete command surface. Pro removes the time limit. See plans.

How is it different from ios-webkit-debug-proxy?+

Inspect translates WebKit’s protocol into the Chrome DevTools Protocol and adds typed CLI commands, structured JSON, console and network capture, and Chrome DevTools handoff.
