Web Forms API

I am creating webforms, and the process is fine, even though there seem to be some field limitations.  I would like to add some formatting using Markdown language, but none of the tags work.  This seems like HTML and I am familiar with using that.  I add the tags, when then I view or publish the forms, I just see the tags as if they were regular text.  Suggestions?

I am using a DocuSign Developer (Demo) account and created a Web Form in the same account.I am able to access and edit the Web Form from the UI using: https://apps-d.docusign.com/send/forms/edit/{formId}I am authenticating using JWT OAuth, and the access token is generated successfully.However, when I try to call the Web Forms API, I consistently receive 404 Not Found.GET Request GET https://apps-d.docusign.com/api/webforms/v1.1/accounts/{accountId}/forms/{formId}POST Request POST https://apps-d.docusign.com/api/webforms/v1.1/accounts/{accountId}/forms/{formId}/instancesBoth requests return 404 Not Found.I have verified:The account ID is correct. The form ID is taken from the Web Form edit URL. JWT authentication is successful. The Web Form was created in the same developer account.My questions are:Are these the correct Web Forms API endpoints? Is the Web Forms REST API available for all Developer (Demo) accounts? Does the Web Forms API require additional account enablement or OAuth sc

When I call a get request to listInstances,I receive 11 instances for my webform.But when I go to data report for my webform, there are actually 21 instances, but I am not getting all of them via API.Anyone encountered this issue? Is there something I am missing?

Greetings DocuSigners! My name is Kristen and I own a property management company. I had previous DocuSign experience as a manager in the aviation industry for several years, so when I started my current company over 10 years ago, I knew I wanted to use the product for all lease applications, management agreements, leases, vendor items, communications, checklists and much more. However, after building all of these forms for sometime, they are now becoming time-consuming and cumbersome, and not mobile-friendly, even though DS offers the options, the failure rate for the end-user is discouraging. Here is my current need, and wonder if this could actually be done. I want my website to be able to offer:Easy to use, rental application, with ability to upload applicant drivers license, proof of income, pet info, etc.  A syndication of all of my available rentals. Most current apps are not compatible A way for contractors to apply or make bids on our website A better form than WIX to use for

Hi,I’m trying to use Embedded Web Forms in my React App. I’m using the following Docusign NPM Packages: docusign-esign @ ^8.4.0 docusign-webforms @ ^2.1.0 I have created an Application at https://apps-d.docusign.com/admin/apps-and-keys, and I have requested the following OAuth Scopes, and approved these within the Browser:const scopes = [ docusign.ApiClient.OAuth.Scope.IMPERSONATION, docusign.ApiClient.OAuth.Scope.SIGNATURE, docusign.ApiClient.OAuth.Scope.EXTENDED, 'webforms_instance_read', 'webforms_instance_write', 'webforms_read', ];I use the `requestJWTUserToken()` method from the SDK to successfully authenticate using my Private Key and this returns an Access Token.I then use the `FormInstanceManagementApi.createInstance()` method from the SDK to create a Web Form Instance, using the Access Token from the step above.This all works, and the Web Form renders within my browser. I am able to complete all steps within the Web Form, however when I get to the “Summar

Hi, if anyone could help with this, that would be awesome. I’m facing the following issue: I create an instance of the webform in the backend, then send the form URL and instance token to the frontend. If I clear the browser data and try to render the form using the form URL and instance token, it works. If I refresh the page without creating a new webform instance and try to re-render using the same URL and token, it also works. The problem starts when I create a new webform instance — for example, when the user changes some data — and then try to re-render it. In this case, the form tries to load, but it shows a “Something went wrong” message. When checking the network tab, the returned error is: “Session invalid.”it is only going to render again if i clear browser data. Has anyone faced this before?Do you have any idea what might be causing this or how I could fix it?

Hi allI am developing/investigating a Docusign integration for an internal app. I have it sending eSignatures so I am confident that it is authorising correctly and can also call the API. I wanted to test out some Web Forms but every call to even list the Web Forms is failing with a 404 error.When sending an envelope, the URL called is “'https://demo.docusign.net/restapi/v2.1/accounts/<account_id>/envelopes'” and the Web Form URL is “'https://demo.docusign.net/restapi/v1.1/accounts/<account_id>/forms'”. Both those values were gotten by stepping through the Python SDK.I must be missing something obvious I assume, but does any one have any ideas where to start investigating?

Hello everyone,I have created a simple Web Form with only two fields, FirstName and LastName, using my DocuSign developer account. I've activated the form link and submitted data multiple times, including some submissions in Incognito mode with different names. However, when I send a GET request to retrieve all instances via the following API route:/api/webforms/v1.1/accounts/{accountId}/forms/{formId}/instancesI receive an empty list ([]).{ "items": []}I’m unable to find any of the submitted form data.Could anyone explain why this is happening? Is it expected that form submissions don't appear in the developer environment, or should I be able to retrieve submitted data even in dev mode? Or perhaps are there restrictions on the Web Forms API in the developer environment that only allow access in production mode?For context, I am using JWT Grant for authentication and have admin access to my developer account. I’ve followed the instructions in the DocuSign documentation:Web Forms API

Hi, We are using webforms for the first time and I am wondering if there is a way that I can receive an email alert when someone completes a form? Thanks

We have a need to support a dynamic header -< detail form where the detail is a dynamic list of items.  Similar to a purchase order with many order lines.We want to repopulate the header and the detail with what we know about the recipient and let them fill in the blanks for missing information in each subform.  This could be a grid-like view or <Previous  |  Next > type of control for each of the lines (probably easier for a mobile app).I thought I could use Agreement Template Builder template with a dynamic table, but ATB templates are not supported.

When paging for a response on an instance ID well a user is working on the form, there is only INITATED and SUBMITTED, Why isn’t there a way to see if they are filling in the form under INPROGRESS. So we can see if the user left mid form.data: {    id: '',    clientUserId: 'guest_user',    formId: '',    accountId: '',    tags: [],    status: 'INITIATED',    instanceMetadata: {      expirationDateTime: '2026-03-29T08:24:26.078Z',      createdDateTime: '2025-02-05T16:24:26.078Z',      createdBy: [Object],      lastModifiedDateTime: '2025-02-05T16:24:26.078Z',      lastModifiedBy: [Object]    },    envelopes: [],    formValues: {      Language_Difficulty: [],      Legal_Guardian_Emergency_Contact: [],      Primary_Insurance_Coverage: [],      Secondary_Insurance_Coverage: [],      Contact_Preference: []    }  }}

Hello, my user reported an error message “Form Not submitted” and I added ?debug=1 to the end of the web form URL and received the below error message, anyone know what this message means and how to fix it?

Hello DocuSign Support Team,We are using the DocuSign Webforms API and need assistance with the following steps after a user completes and signs the webform:Once the form is signed, we want the signed PDF document to be automatically sent back to our system. The signed PDF should then be attached to a specific case in our system for record-keeping and further processing.Could you please provide guidance on how to configure this process using the Webforms API, specifically on how to retrieve the signed PDF and attach it to a case?

How should I embed a web form instance in my app?

I have a template which I have turned into a webform. During creation of the web form I input a question  as a dropdown question stating “Do you rent or own” with the selection of “Rent” or “Own” as the dropdown options and in the “API value” I included the appropriate labels to connect these answers to the template field once the form is submitted. Because it is set up as a dropdown question the actual “API Reference Name” is automatically labelled as “Select_bfaQ9jlc” but as mentioned the “API Value” is “Renter” and “Owner” to correlate with the template. So, when I go to activate the form is says I have disconnected links. When I try to connect them, it wont let me choose the appropriate field to connect them to, so I move forward and activate it, and then go to test out the form, I fill it in and the information from the Rent or Own question does not get filled into the template. This happens for all my questions displayed in the styles of checkboxes, dropdowns, dates, etc.It seems
