We are proud to announce the launch of our new fan society, TheoryVerse

Big milestone for Team Theorist this weekend: we officially launched TheoryVerse, our new fan society. At Theorist Media we’ve always had an audience that doesn’t just watch our content, they participate in it. They theorize, debate, solve puzzles, challenge assumptions, and genuinely help shape the community around our channels. TheoryVerse gives us the opportunity to build a deeper, more direct relationship with our audience while also giving us more room to experiment creatively through ad-free viewing, exclusive shows, behind-the-scenes access, and new ways for our audience to engage directly with Team Theorist and each other. And we launched in the most Theorist way possible: with a multi-week ARG that led our most dedicated fans through puzzles, ciphers, and clues to discover the platform early. Importantly, launching a memberships platform isn’t about moving away from what already exists, it’s about building on top of it. Our regular content will continue as usual on YouTube. Huge thank you to the incredible team that brought this to life. Launching something like this takes an enormous cross-functional effort, and I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. Special shoutout to Amy Roberts, who led this massive project from start to finish and kept us all moving to make it happen. And finally, thank you to Uscreen for partnering with us to build the service we’ve always wanted. Join us at TheoryVerse.tv.

  • We're excited to announce that Theorist Media is now exclusively working with Good Story Studios across all brand partnerships. Good Story works with long-form YouTube creators like Yes Theory, Airrack, & Alberta Tech and takes a fundamentally different approach to brand deals by treating their channels more like TV shows than influencers or standard media buys. Good Story works alongside our team day-to-day, managing our partnership calendar and developing dedicated concepts for brands. That philosophy is a natural fit for us. Across Gaming, Film, and Food, we've always been more interested in doing something innovative than just running a standard ad read. Good Story helps us find brand partners who share that ambition and want to build integrations that are actually worth watching. If that sounds like your brand, reach out to barbara abraul at Good Story Studios. Special thanks to: Zack Honarvar, barbara abraul, Clemens Semelmayer, Gwen Miller and the entire Theorist team.

  • We just dropped the trailer for something we have been building for a long time, and it marks a pretty big step forward for us. Introducing TheoryVerse. This is our new fan-society, the next generation of Theorist and the extended universe of everything we have been creating together. Our audience has never been passive. They engage, question, theorize, and push ideas further than we ever could on our own. TheoryVerse is a space designed to meet that energy and give us more room to explore ideas, formats, and stories in new ways. It is where we can create:  • Exclusive theories and shows that go beyond our usual formats  • Ad-free versions of our episodes  • More experimental, more niche, and yes, sometimes more chaotic ideas  • Inside access to Team Theorist and a closer connection to the community  • Exclusive discounts and perks across the experience Importantly, nothing is changing about what we do on YouTube. That remains free and at the core of everything we do. This is simply more. More content. More connection. More room to create. We have been building this alongside our partners at Uscreen and shaping it specifically for the kind of audience Theorist has always had, one that wants to go deeper, not just watch from the sidelines. The trailer is just the beginning. Now it is time to enter the TheoryVerse. Coming May 23rd. https://lnkd.in/gYtq8qMs

  • We’re celebrating the 15th anniversary of our flagship channel, Game Theory. This is where it all started, the foundation of everything we’ve built since. Created by Matthew Patrick and Stephanie Patrick, Game Theory began with a passion for gaming paired with deep curiosity and a wish to share knowledge. Over time, that spark grew into something far bigger than any one video or theory. Today, it’s capably helmed by Tom Robinson and brought to life by an incredibly dedicated, passionate team behind the scenes. Fifteen years later, the spirit of curiosity, creativity, and community that defined day one is still at the heart of everything we do. Here’s to the theories that started it all and the ones still to come. https://lnkd.in/g9XmQB9V

  • Film Theory is celebrating its 10th anniversary. What began as a natural extension of Game Theory has grown into a juggernaut in its own right, home to an avid fanbase, beloved IP, and endlessly fascinating theories. Adeptly helmed by Forrest Lee and supported by one of the best teams in the business, we’re excited to keep building alongside an audience that has shaped Film Theory into what it is today. Here’s to the next chapter. https://lnkd.in/gcG5dBFT

Corporate America just discovered storytelling. Creators mastered it years ago.   In 2026, storytelling is no longer a soft skill for CMOs. It’s an operating model. Story no longer sits next to the marketing machine. It can power the entire system. Forbes calls storyteller one of Corporate America’s hottest new job titles. Creators understood this early. Brands are now catching up 👇   ✅ Stories are assets, not executions. Creators don’t ship one-off campaigns. They build worlds. Characters, arcs, recurring formats. Each piece compounds belief and attention over time. That’s why creator IP grows while traditional campaigns reset to zero.   ✅ Premium storytelling replaces rented attention. Instead of paying to interrupt people with ads, creators invest in content audiences actively choose. One strong narrative can fuel paid media, social, partnerships, PR, experiences, and commerce. Not because it’s louder, but because it’s meaningful.   ✅ The unit economics favor ownership. Ads are expenses. IP is equity. A campaign ends. A story keeps working. Creators optimize for compounding because their business depends on it.   ❗The uncomfortable truth for CMOs: You’re hiring storytellers at executive comp while overlooking creators who have already proven how to turn narrative into distribution, trust, and revenue in the most competitive market there is: attention. Creators don’t think in campaigns. They think in franchises. And that shift, from renting attention to owning story, is where the next generation of brand value will be built.

If you still think the creator economy is about virality, you’re already late. The creator economy is graduating from content to outcomes. Not just views. Not just followers. Real businesses, real infrastructure, real impact. A few takeaways from 1 Billion Followers Summit I can’t stop thinking about 👇 1) The next moat is trust We are heading into an internet where authenticity is harder to verify and easier to fake. The creators and platforms that win will be the ones that can prove what’s real, not just what performs. 2) Content for good is becoming a serious strategy Purpose is no longer a slogan. It is becoming a competitive advantage. From education to community-led initiatives, audiences are choosing creators they can stand behind. Attention is no longer the finish line. It is the raw material. Creators are starting to ask what their reach can build, not just what it can monetize. 3) AI is shifting from tool to teammate The winners won’t be the most technical. They’ll be the most editorial. When Zoubeir Jlassi, a Tunisian filmmaker who once fought for his life in a hospital bed, won the $1M AI Film Award for Lily, it proved a simple truth: AI does not replace storytellers. It amplifies those with taste, perspective, narrative depth, and emotional resonance. 4) Creators are building companies, not channels Commerce, products, licensing, live, and franchising were everywhere. The bar is rising from creator-brand deals to creator-led enterprises. When Will Smith and Rio Ferdinand spoke, the focus was not views. It was IP ownership, cross-platform distribution, and long-term asset building. Creators are evolving into operators. Channels are becoming companies. Content is becoming IP. 5) The Middle East is building a real creator hub What stood out was intent. Infrastructure, capital, and ambition in one place. Dubai is not just hosting the creator economy. It’s trying to blueprint it. ❗Where this is heading in 2026: Creators become the front door to brands, education, and culture. IP becomes the asset class that separates hobbyists from institutions. The creator economy is graduating: From individuals to institutions. From viral moments to durable franchises. From rented attention to owned impact. 🤯 Curious to hear. What was your biggest takeaway from the 1BF Summit, or from the creator economy so far? #1BillionSummit #1BFS #CreatorEconomy #DigitalIP #FranchiseEra #ContentForGood #Dubai #MediaInnovation Lunar X

The creator economy isn’t a trend anymore. It’s becoming the foundation of the modern media stack. For three days, BRIDGE Summit brought creators, platforms, legacy media, policy, tech, and capital into the same room. At real scale. 👇 What stood out: 1) The creator economy is now infrastructure, not a category. Creators are no longer treated as a distribution hack. They’re a strategic layer in how culture, trust, and commerce are built. The most advanced creators aren’t optimizing for views anymore. They’re optimizing for IP control, recurring revenue, and optionality. The creator economy wasn’t framed as a parallel industry, but as a core pillar of the future media stack, alongside studios, platforms, capital, and policy. 2) Production is now a commodity. Pick your side. World 1: Platform-dependent creators fighting for algorithmic scraps World 2: IP owners building cross-platform empires As production costs drop and formats become easier to replicate, differentiation moves upstream: Taste. Distribution leverage. IP ownership. Community trust. 3) Trust is the new currency, and AI is stress-testing it. Every conversation landed on the same problem: verification, misinformation, and defining what’s real online. If trust collapses, every model downstream gets taxed. AI lowers production cost, but raises the premium on originality, rights clarity, and brand integrity. The upside accrues to creators who treat IP like an asset class, not content output. 4) Platform convergence is accelerating As streaming, social, and subscription models converge, platform-specific strategies matter less. What matters is whether creators treat platforms as destinations or as interchangeable distribution layers for something they actually own. 5) Owned relationship beats rented reach. The most resilient creators and operators are building direct lines to fans through membership, community, messaging, and IRL, while using platforms as accelerants, not foundations.   ❗The harsh reality: 99% of creators are building audiences. 1% are building assets. If your audience doesn’t translate into ownership and your IP doesn’t compound beyond platforms, you’re building on someone else’s land. Build franchises where IP + distribution + community reinforce each other. Attention gets you discovered. Systems get you durable value. Which shift are you prioritizing right now, and why? #BRIDGESummit #CreatorEconomy #DigitalIP #Media #AI #Strategy #Franchises #Community #FutureOfMedia #LunarX

😱 From Jump Scares to Streetwear. When a viral game evolves into fashion, it’s not a trend. It’s franchise evolution in real time. What started as Poppy Playtime, an indie horror game built for YouTube and optimized for screams, has evolved into a full-fledged cultural franchise and today, that story continues in premium, creator-driven fashion. 👕 From Pixels to Products - UV lights now reveal hidden secrets. - 8-bit patterns hide coded messages. - Easter eggs that reward the same exploration the game demands. This isn’t merch. It’s a blueprint for how digital IP becomes wearable culture.   🚀 This drop represents the new playbook for creator & gaming IP: ✅ Community shapes the product (not committees) ✅ Every touchpoint deepens the lore ✅ Fashion becomes a new storytelling format When apparel becomes an extension of the universe, fans don’t just wear it, they live it.   🎡The Franchise Flywheel Spins Game → YouTube content → Fan theories → Wearable culture → Social moments → More content. Each hoodie isn’t just revenue. It’s a walking billboard, a conversation starter, a new node in the IP network. We're not selling products. We're selling membership to a universe. With TheoryVerse, we’re building the connective tissue between content, commerce, and culture turning fandom into real-world equity.   Massive thanks to our partners at Mob Entertainment for the creative trust & shared vision, our rockstars Anthony Smith + Chike N., and our partners at Acifin for the incredible creative and product execution! #TheoryVerse #PoppyPlaytime #CreatorEconomy #FranchiseEra #IPBuilding #Gaming #Fashion #Worldbuilding #DigitalToPhysical #LunarX #TheoristMedia
